How long will my Laptop take to repair?
If you visit our walk in centre most repairs are undertaken within 24 – 48 hours subject to parts availability. If you need your Laptop back sooner a 24 Hour Express Service is available for only R300, your device repair is then given priority treatment.
How should I package my laptop for shipping?
Please use a sturdy box with proper padding to protect your laptop in transit. We are not liable for damage caused during shipping to our facility.
Do you provide prepaid shipping labels?
At this time, customers are responsible for shipping their device to us. We can book your device on your behalf, but the cost will provide by you.
Can I check the status of my repair?
Absolutely! You’ll receive email updates at each stage, and you’re welcome to contact us at any time for a status update.
Do you offer any warranty on repairs?
Yes, we offer a 60-day limited warranty on most completed repairs. This covers the specific issue that was repaired, not unrelated issues or additional damage after return.
Will I lose any data from my Laptop?
We endeavor to keep all information intact, unless it is necessary to remove as a part of the repair. These repairs usually include software problems or liquid damage. If your data is particularly important, please do let us know when you send in your laptop. Extra charges can be added backing up your data.
What happens if my laptop can’t be repaired?
In cases where we determine the laptop is not repairable or you choose not to proceed with the repair, we will return your device. Please note, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable and return shipping costs will apply.
What kind of parts do you use for repairs?
We only use 100% genuine parts where possible. If original parts are not available we will source the next best thing OEM parts from the same factories that produce the parts.
How does the mail-in repair process work?
Simply fill out our mail-in repair request form, pack your laptop securely, and ship it to us. Once we receive your device, our technician will diagnose the issue and contact you with a repair quote or update. After approval, we proceed with the repair and ship it back to you.
How long does the repair take?
Turnaround time is typically 48 to 72 working Hours, depending on the complexity of the repair and parts availability.
Is there a diagnostic fee?
Yes, we charge a diagnostic fee to cover inspection and testing. This fee may be applied toward the final repair cost if you proceed with the service.
